The fecladsystems.com website
Effective November 1, 2026
What this website collects
Very little. There are no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no tracking on this site, and no forms to fill in.
- If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you. We don't sell it or add you to a mailing list.
- Server logs. The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify keeps standard request logs — IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time — to run the service and keep it secure.
- Report verification. If you check a FeTrace report on the verify page, the report code you enter is looked up in the FeTrace database to show whether the report is genuine. Nothing else about you is stored.
Signing in
The sign-in buttons take you to each program's own site. For FeView, what happens after you sign in is covered below.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site, or where the law requires it.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date.
FeView app and portal
Operated by FeClad Systems, LLC · Effective October 26, 2026
This part explains how FeClad Systems, LLC (“FeClad,” “we,” “us”) handles information in the FeView mobile app and web portal (“the App”). FeView is used by inspection and coatings companies (“your organization”) that license it from FeClad to record protective-coating and corrosion inspection work. FeView is a professional, login-restricted tool for authorized personnel. Accounts are created by your organization’s administrator; the App is not directed to the general public or to children.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, work email address, role and the organization you belong to, used to sign you in and control what you can see.
- Inspection content you enter — reports, readings and measurements, job and project details, product and batch data, signatures, and files or photographs you add.
- Photos and camera — the App uses your camera only when you choose to photograph an inspection subject or a coating product label.
- Location — when you take an inspection photo, the App may add the device’s GPS location and time to the photo so the report shows where it was taken. Location is captured only at that moment, not tracked in the background, and you can deny location permission without losing other features.
- Bluetooth gauge readings — if you connect a dry-film-thickness gauge, the App imports its readings into your report.
- Biometric sign-in — if you turn on Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, your credentials are kept in your device’s secure keystore/enclave. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
- Limited technical data — basic diagnostic, app-version and connection information needed to run the service and fix problems, and the issue reports you choose to send us.
We do not collect advertising identifiers, track you across other apps or websites, sell personal information, or show ads.
How we use it
Only to provide the inspection-reporting service to you and your organization: signing you in, saving and organizing inspection records, producing reports and certificates, syncing your data between devices, providing support, and keeping the service secure.
Who owns the data, and who can see it
Inspection records belong to your organization. Each organization’s data is kept in its own walled-off area; people in one organization cannot see another organization’s data. Within your organization, what you can see depends on the role your administrator gives you (for example, a customer login sees only completed reports for its own jobs). FeClad staff access an organization’s data only to set up and support its account, fix problems, meet a legal requirement, or at the organization’s request.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored in access-controlled cloud databases and file storage (Supabase, on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States). It is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), protected by role-based access controls, and backed up regularly.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that run the App for us, under their terms and only for that purpose: cloud hosting and database (Supabase / AWS), email delivery for sign-in and password emails (Resend), and — only when your organization has turned them on and you use them — AI features that read a document or check a report (Anthropic). These providers do not use your data for their own advertising, and our AI provider does not use it to train its models. If your organization connects FeView to its own systems (such as SharePoint or Procore), reports are sent there at your organization’s direction. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Data retention and deletion
Inspection records are kept while your organization’s FeView account is active. If your organization’s account ends, its data is permanently deleted 30 days later (after your organization has had the chance to receive a copy). If your login is removed by your administrator, your account is deleted; reports you created stay with your organization as part of its records.
Your choices and requests
Because FeView accounts are managed by your organization, requests to access, correct, export or delete your information are normally handled by your organization’s administrator. You can also email us at richard@fecladsystems.com and we will help or pass your request to your organization. You can turn off camera, location and Bluetooth permissions at any time in your device settings.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport, optional two-step verification and biometric sign-in, role-based permissions, separation between organizations, and encrypted backups. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
FeView is a workplace tool for adults. It is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
